Abstract

The development of a tourism village master plan is a strategic effort to harness local potential through community-based participation. This study aims to formulate a master plan for Cileuweung Village as a tourism destination using a community-based development approach. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method, with data collected through field observations, interviews with community leaders, and focus group discussions (FGDs) with local residents. The findings indicate that Cileuweung Village possesses strong natural, cultural, and social assets that have not been fully optimized. Through participatory processes, a development plan was formulated, covering area zoning, community institutional strengthening, and strategies for promotion and sustainability. This master plan is expected to serve as an implementable guideline for both government and local communities in realizing Cileuweung Village as a sustainable, community-empowered tourism destination.
