Abstract

In the era of digital transformation, cooperative enterprises face increasing pressure to modernize their business processes and compete within the growing e-commerce landscape. This study explores the implementation of the PrestaShop Content Management System (CMS) as a solution to enhance the e-commerce capabilities of cooperatives. PrestaShop, an open-source and modular CMS platform, offers flexible tools for building and managing online stores, making it an ideal choice for small to medium-sized cooperative businesses. The research involves designing and deploying a customized online shop tailored to the operational needs of a cooperative, including product categorization, payment gateways, and inventory synchronization. Through implementation and testing, the study demonstrates improvements in transaction efficiency, user accessibility, and inventory accuracy. The findings suggest that PrestaShop CMS can be effectively adapted to cooperative business models, promoting digital inclusion and enabling greater market reach. This work contributes to the ongoing discourse on digital empowerment for cooperative enterprises, especially in developing regions where technological adoption remains a challenge.
