Abstract

This study aims to develop innovative project-based learning resources using the Electric Transient Analysis Program (ETAP) for the Motor Use and Control course. The target audience is undergraduate students in Electrical Engineering Education taking the Motor Use and Control course. The research stages were conducted over one year: (1) analyzing learning resource needs and selecting the most appropriate learning model for the Motor Use and Control course- (2) compiling lecture materials for the Motor Use and Control course- (3) preparing lecture and laboratory practicum requirements- (4) validating and testing innovative learning resource devices- and finalizing the packaging of the innovative learning resources- and (5) implementing the innovative project-based learning resources using ETAP, with a KKNI-oriented lecture pattern with 6 assignments and OBE. The results of the study indicate that the project-based learning model is feasible and practical to use. The use of ETAP with the Direct Online (DOL) method indicates that student learning outcomes improve compared to the pretest and posttest. The implementation stage of learning in the classroom and laboratory found that the learning model is effective.
