Abstract

The ESL-Course Design course is aimed at helping students improve their ability to design contextual English language learning programs or courses that are based on learners^ needs and enhance comprehensive language skills. The integration of the Team-Based Project approach into the ESL-Course Design course allows students to collaborate in the design, implementation, and evaluation of language courses.
The Team-Based Project learning model is recognized as an effective instructional model to foster innovative ideas and position students as active subjects or the center of the learning process. This model emphasizes a learning process that leads to tangible outcomes or products. In this context, students are given the autonomy to determine their own learning activities, carry out collaborative learning projects, and produce meaningful outputs as the end result.
The Department of English Education continuously strives to enhance and improve the quality of learning by integrating innovative models and technology to promote high-quality education, managed autonomously within a healthy organizational environment. The ultimate goal is to produce university graduates who are lifelong learners-competent, flexible, and resilient (agile learners)-ready to contribute positively to national development and to become productive global citizens.
