Effective Francophonie for Improving French Students a) French Departement, Universitas Negeri Medan Abstract The annual francophonie program in the French Language Education of Universitas Negeri Medan has not been too effective, thus failing to maximize the quality of the French students. Based on the evaluation conducted through this research, future improvements and innovations are needed in the implementation of francophonie, specifically in planning, implementation, and evaluation. Effective francophonie is not merely a formality, but one that permeates the entire series of activities with French. This is crucial because francophonie is a routine annual activity in Unimed.
