Abstract

The rapid development of science and technology has brought many conveniences, including information dissemination and communication, with social media being one of the main factors. This community service activity held at SMA YMIK 2 Jakarta aimed to enhance students^ knowledge and skills in using social media effectively and informatively so that they can contribute to improving the school^s image in the future. This community service program included a series of events, where the material presentation stage focused on how to create engaging and informative social media content. The data analysis results from the pre-test and post-test using the Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test showed a significant increase in students^ knowledge, with the average score rising from 49.80 to 91.94 and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05). The significance value of less than 0.05 and the increase in the average post-test score indicate that this community service program positively impacted the participants knowledge
