Abstract
Abstract learning will be effectively explained with the help of learning media, so that it looks clear (concrete) and is easy to understand, it can be a procedure in the form of animation. 3D Animation making skills can be trained by creative teachers until they are able to make good and interesting learning media. Creative 3D animation making can use Blender application software.
Blender application software is an application that functions to create 3D animations, visual effects, 3D objects and games. This software is an open source 3D creation suite. Some of the main features of Blender are 3D modeling, rigging, fluid dynamics, keyframe animation, photorealistic rendering, and video editing.
Efforts to develop teacher competency in making 3D Animation are carried out through Integrated Community Service Activities for Real Work Lectures (P2M-KKN). The activity took place at the beginning of the odd semester of the 2023/2024 Academic Year. Students in carrying out KKN were actively involved from preparation, opening, training, to closing the Training.
The approach used in this training is ^Student Centered Learning^ with a project-based learning model. This training uses discussion, demonstration, and work demonstration methods. The success of this training activity is: (1) training participants can utilize the Blender Application in designing interesting and interactive learning media, and (2) through this training, training participants can become professional teachers by developing their potential with good learning quality.
