PENINGKATAN PENGETAHUAN DAN PRAKTIK PEMANDU WISATA RELIGI MELALUI PEMANFAATAN TEKNOLOGI DIGITAL DI KELURAHAN JATINEGARA KAUM

Abstract

Improving the knowledge and practice of religious tour guides through the use of digital technology is a community service activity that aims to improve the practice of religious tour guides based on digital technology. In today^s digital era, tour guides must improve their performance, which was previously only done traditionally, to become based on digital technology. The method used is the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method, namely through dialogue, discussion, questions and answers, and assignments regarding the practice of religious tour guides based on technology. The participants involved were 3 members of Karang Taruna and 15 members of KTH Rumah Kaum Jayakarta. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the service showed that community service activities were effective in improving the knowledge and practice of utilizing technology in religious tour guides. Through the practice of religious tour guides with the use of technology based on sites, social media, and applications, participants can feel the benefits in promoting religious tourism and making the work of tour guides more efficient.
