Abstract
Abstract. Geotourism is a type of tourism that utilizes all aspects of geology, including landscapes, rocks, structures and history of the earth. Including culture and biodiversity related to geology. Kelay District is an area that will be proposed as a geotourism, located in the Sangkulirang Mangkalihat karst area, administratively included in the Berau Regency area, East Kalimantan Province. The method is the form of studio analysis stages, field surveys and data processing. Field surveys are primary data collection activities that include geological, hydrological, geomorphological data. The final stage is data processing and reporting. The results of the study are that this area is included as the Merabu Cluster covering the points of geological diversity in the Merabu karst block. Lake Nyadeng is the point where karst springs emerge which form quite large pools. The flow empties into and feeds the Lesan River. Tebo Lake is a polje in the Merabu karst block, with an area of 4,800 square kilometers. Beloyot Cave is a niche with an altitude of 180 m above sea level located in the western part of the Merabu karst block.
