Assessment of geological diversity, biodiversity, cultural diversity and geotourism potencies at Suoh Aspiring Geopark for designation of geopark area (a) Teknik Geologi, Universitas Lampung Abstract Suoh is an area of very high geological uniqueness located in the Semangka pull-apart depression. Geopark designation requires a comprehensive understanding of the natural and cultural elements that contribute to its uniqueness and sustainability. Therefore, it is necessary to characterize the geotourism potential (geodiversity, biodiversity and cultural diversity) that exists in the Suoh Aspiring Geopark area. This research tries to identify and develop this potential by using a spatial and regional complex approach. Technically, the method used is the Modifi-ed Geosite Assessment Model (M-GAM) combined with Hot-Spot Analysis to obtain spatial and non-spatial groupings of geotourism potential. Clustering is done using K-Means Cluster Analysis. The results showed that the existing geosites spatially form a cluster and can be used to determine the theme of tourism activities to strengthen the pillars of the geopark. Geopark development is hampered by several obstacles, including poor access and geosite management. In general, strategies to strengthen stakeholders and optimize research are needed to strengthen geopark pillars. In addition, it is also important to establish linkages between geodiversity, biodiversity and cultural diversity to increase the importance of Suoh Geopark.
