Sustainable Development in Creative Industries: A Bibliometric Analysis Universitas Pembangunan Jaya Abstract The intersection of sustainable development and creative industries represents a burgeoning field of research with significant potential for advancing global sustainability goals. This study aims to provide a comprehensive bibliometric analysis of this intersection to identify critical trends, thematic clusters, and research gaps. Utilizing data from the Scopus databases, the study employs co-occurrence of keywords analysis methods to uncover the thematic structure of the literature. The findings reveal four primary thematic clusters: Innovation and Entrepreneurship in Sustainable Development, Creative Ecosystems and Cultural Development, Economics and Social Impacts of Creative Industries, and Sustainability and SDGs in Cultural and Creative Industries. The results highlight a growing scholarly interest in integrating sustainability into creative sectors yet indicate that this research area is still in its early stages, with substantial room for further exploration. This study has significant implications for both researchers and practitioners. Researchers are encouraged to delve deeper into the interplay between creative industries and sustainability. At the same time, practitioners are urged to align their practices with sustainability principles to drive positive environmental and social outcomes.
