Abstract

This research aims to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence usage on students^ digital communication skills at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta. The increasing use of technology in various aspects of life has a significant impact on digital communication skills, particularly in higher education settings. The research method used is a survey study by distributing questionnaires to students at UPN Veteran Yogyakarta. The collected data were analyzed using statistical methods to evaluate the impact of artificial intelligence usage on students^ skills and the quality of thesis writing. The results show that usage has a positive influence on students awareness of digital communication skills. Students who actively use technology tend to have a better understanding of digital communication strategies and the utilization of information technology in the educational context. This research provides recommendations for UPN Veteran Yogyakarta to further strengthen the integration of technology into the curriculum to enhance students awareness of important aspects of digital communication. Additionally, further research can be conducted to explore the long-term impact of usage on the development of students digital communication skills in higher education environments.
