Social Media Use and 2024 Indonesian General Election UPN Veteran Yogyakarta Abstract The use of social media within the context of general elections has been an exciting issue. This research seeks to examine social media^s influence on Indonesia^s political communication environment during the 2024 General Election. The research utilizes a mixed-method approach, which combines quantitative analysis of social media use trends with qualitative interviews to comprehend these platforms^ influence on public opinion and political debate. The key results suggest that social media has substantially impacted voter behavior, with platforms such as Facebook and Twitter playing a crucial role as essential instruments for political campaigns. This study enhances the area of communication science by offering valuable insights into the changing dynamics of digital political communication in developing democracies.
