Implementation of Institutional Innovation and Human Resource Escalation in Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa) Katon Margo Sembada Sleman Yogyakarta a), e), f), g), h) Management Department, Business and Economics Faculty, Universitas Pembangunan Nasional ^Veteran^ Yogyakarta Abstract This research aims to examine the implementation of institutional innovation and the improvement of human resource quality in Village-Owned Enterprises (BUM Desa) Katon Margo Sembada, Sleman, Yogyakarta. The main focus of the research is on technology adaptation, enhancing social capital, and improving operational management. The research method used is qualitative with a case study design. Data was collected through participant observation and focus group discussions (FGD) with key informants such as secretaries, treasurers, and supervisors of BUM Desa units. The research findings show that the lack of managerial skills and technological knowledge are the main obstacles to developing BUM Desa towards becoming agile and resilient. The training and mentoring provided are expected to enhance institutional innovation and entrepreneurial management capabilities to achieve an agile and resilient BUM Desa. The results of this study are expected to contribute to improving the quality of BUM Desa institutions and entrepreneurship, increasing BUM Desa income, and enhancing the quality of human resources in BUM Desa Katon Margo Sembada.
