Abstract

In connection with the progress and development of the regional economy, it is important to carry out this research to measure and classify regional competitiveness based on the indicators used, namely: environmental elements, market innovation and human capital. The aim of this research is how to increase regional competitiveness through the potential of the City of Surakarta. The aim of measuring the Regional Competitiveness Index is to obtain a comprehensive measure of regional competitiveness that can reflect the level of regional productivity. The method used is secondary data analysis using the Error Correction Model (ECM) approach.
