RUBBER PRODUCTION OPTIMIZATION IN MUARA ENIM DISTRICT USING SIMPLEX METHOD Department of Mathematics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Sriwijaya University. Palembang-Prabumulih Road, Indralaya, Ogan Iir Regency (30662) Abstract This research aims to optimize rubber production in Muara Enim Regency by applying Linear Programming techniques using the Simplex Method. This approach is used to design a mathematical model, this research focuses on maximizing rubber production in Muara Enim Regency to improve efficiency and profitability in the context of the sustainability of the rubber industry. By considering the sustainability of the rubber industry, the simulation results show that the application of Linear Programming can significantly improve the efficiency of rubber production, make a positive contribution to profits and balance between supply and demand. This research can provide practical guidance for rubber industry players in improving productivity and production sustainability. The results of the analysis using Linear Programming can provide strategic recommendations for more optimal decision making in the management of rubber production.
