APPLICATION OF THE INTERVAL HALVING METHOD IN FINDING THE ROOTS OF EQUATIONS

Abstract

This research aims to explain the application of the interval halving method to the process of finding the roots of an equation. The methods used are interval halving method and numerical method. When this method is used, it is expected that the obtained equation can be minimized so that the speed of convergence is faster.
