Abstract
AR in education has garnered attention as an innovative method that can enhance engagement and learning effectiveness. This research focuses on the integration of Augmented Reality (AR) in language learning to understand how this technology can enhance learning motivation, communication skills, and students^ mastery of writing skills. This research aims to explore and analyze the impact of implementing Augmented Reality (AR) technology using Assemblr Studio in the context of language learning.
The research methodology employs a mixed methods approach, encompassing quantitative analysis through surveys and language proficiency tests, as well as qualitative analysis through interviews and participatory observations. The research sample involves students at Muhadi Setiabudi University. Students will engage in learning using AR instructional media specifically developed for language learning.
The results of implementing Augmented Reality (AR) using Assemblr Studio will yield innovative instructional media in language learning, particularly in writing and speaking proficiency. Based on the research findings, it is evident that three-dimensional (3D) media using Augmented Reality (AR) with Assemblr Studio can enhance students^ understanding and skills by up to 87.5%, motivating them to participate in lectures actively. The pedagogical implications of this research are expected to contribute to developing more effective and engaging language teaching strategies in higher education.
