Virtual Reality Development For Learning Media Welding Practice Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta Abstract This research and development aims to produce products in the form of virtual reality development media as a medium for learning welding practices. Welding is a process of joining two or more materials to produce a stable and strong joint. Welding training is needed for students in vocational education and for welders in industry. The problems found in conventional welding training are that it requires a lot of money, a lot of materials and energy, requires a special room or workshop and training is less interesting for students. The research uses the ADDIE model which consists of Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This virtual reality media learning is used as an introduction to welding practice. The results of the product feasibility test have been carried out on welding instructors and students get a lot of positive responses, so it can be concluded that virtual reality media is suitable for use in learning. This media makes it easy for students to understand and practice welding and provides attractiveness for students so that their desire to learn increases.
