Ovarian Cysts treatment and recovery using herb medicine Dept of Hospital Management Abstract Ovarian cysts are abnormalities in women with the main complaint of menstrual pain, or when during intercourse. Cysts form during menstruation and are benign, can disappear over time. In some cases cysts may be cancerous and harm health. Especially if the sufferer is an unmarried woman, it is feared that there will be problems in the reproductive organs. Symptoms that often appear are pelvic pain, frequent urination, flatulence, pain during sexual intercourse, feeling full or heavy in the abdomen, uncontrolled enlarged abdomen. According to a demographic survey the prevalence of ovarian cysts in Indonesia is 37.2% or as many as 23,400 where 13,900 people were recorded passing away. Examination of ovarian cysts is mostly found during ultrasound examination. Cysts that have a large enough size can cause pelvic pain. Young women especially experience acute abdominal pain associated with benign ovarian cysts. Treatment of ovarian cysts has a variety of management, ranging from observation to performing surgery to remove cysts such as laparoscopy or laparotomy. This is determined by the size of the ovarian cyst and the degree of malignancy. However, in this research, management with herbs in Indonesia was applied, where side effects are small and without surgery that will reduce the financial burden in the treatment process.
