Setting Ozonation Parameters Using the Taguchi Method to Extend the Lifetime of Tomato Fruit (Lycopersicum Esculentum Mill) to Improve Farmer Welfare Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Muhammadiyah University of Magelang Abstract Indonesia, an agricultural country with a diversity of agricultural products, including fruit, is attractive to the national economy. However, horticultural products are perishable, and susceptible to microbiological damage and post-harvest chemical contaminants. Ozonization of horticultural products is an innovative solution to overcome this problem. Experimental research using the Taguchi method aims to extend the lifetime of tomatoes, increase the economic value of agricultural products, and improve farmer welfare.
