Language Village as Part of Educational Tourism: Multi-Parties Perceptions

Abstract

Desa Cisaat, Ciater, Subang as a fostered village of Jakarta State University has enormous potential for community development and empowerment, especially in the areas of education, tourism as well as culture and art. This multi-year activity is expected to improve the lives of the villagers whose village as one of the educational tourism destinations. This community service activity in the first year aims to explore the establishment of a language village in Desa Cisaat Ciater, Subang. Establishing a language village requires many aspects. Three of the aspects is the readiness of residents and apparatus of the village, the commitment from the stakeholders and the reception of the potential customers. Through survey, their perceptions reflect their readiness, commitment and the reception in participating the establishment of a language village
