THE EFFECTIVENESS OF ^BLENDED LABORATORY APPLICATION BASED ON INTERNET OF THINGS^ (BLABIOT) WITH STEM APPROACH IN SCIENCE PRACTICUM TO ENHANCE SCIENCE PROCESS SKILLS AND DESIGNING CARRYING OUT INVESTIGATION Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta Abstract This research has proven that the Blended Laboratory Application Based on Internet of Things (BLABIOT) in Science Practicum with STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach is effective in enhancing Science Process Skills (SPS) and Designing Carrying Out Investigation (DCOI) among Junior High School students. Applying the STEM approach in science learning can solve the students^ difficulties in linking technological elements represented by the Internet of Things (IoT), engineering elements embodied in blended laboratory applications, and mathematical elements in data analysis and graphs generated by IoT-based multisensory environmental variables. The research methodology employed a field experiment in the form of the BLABIOT application in the Science laboratory of junior high school and the spiral model of Research & Development (R&D) (Cennamo and Kalk) [1] in the form of a STEM model to enhance SPS and DCOI students. The assessment results based on media experts obtained an average percentage of 81.52%, and 83.5% was from material experts. It shows that the developed BLABIOT learning media categorised as ^Good^ and ^feasible^ for use. The user response to the blended laboratory application falls in the ^Very Good^ category (80,14%). Meanwhile, the results of the MANOVA test calculation indicate that the significance value of the intercept test is 0.000 < 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant effect of the STEM-based BLABIOT to enhance students^ SPS and their ability to design carrying out investigations at junior high school.
