Abstract
Abstract. The development of the use of electric cars as an alternative to the use of cars continues to be developed. The emergence of technological innovations in the field of motor propulsion from initially using a brushed or brushed motor to a brushless one has further increased the efficiency and effectiveness of electric cars that have better capabilities. The solenoid machine is a machine that requires electrical energy as its propulsion. This engine will be used to replace the combustion engine (gasoline or diesel engine) which is currently commonly used in motor vehicles (cars). In its use, the car is used mobile (moving). So we need a power plant that can move and is environmentally friendly. Solar panels mounted on the front and rear spoilers of the car will get maximum electrical energy output and increase the down force of the car. In addition, this electric car is also designed with a solar-powered generator source so that it can provide additional charging current to the battery. The placement of the solar panel on the spoiler is appropriate because it can help increase the down force when the car is running. The number of 40 wp solar panels is enough to meet the power needed by the engine when the weather conditions are sunny (hot). The number of 4 solar panels of 10 wp each was chosen because their size is smaller (in terms of width) than using 2 panels of 20 wp each. The engine settings are set so that the engine gets maximum power. So if the engine is set at a lower voltage then the current stored in the battery will be greater. The output of the solar panels may be greater if the car is running because the solar panels can get cooling from the wind. The greatest power when taking 220 grams in the morning is at position C with a power of 34.5 W (10.55), during the afternoon at position B with a power of 37.1 W (11.55), in the afternoon position A with a power of 14.2 W (14.25). ).
