Abstract. This study aims to determine the role of the Village Government in managing tourism objects in increasing the locally-generated revenue of the Suci Village, Panti District, Jember Regency and identifying the problems faced by the Suci Village Government. The study used qualitative methods with data collection techniques using triangulation, a combination of interviews, observations, and documentation. The results of this study were obtained by conducting socialization and planning for the development of tourist areas, forming tourism awareness group called Pokdarwis, promoting tourism to social media, and conducting comparative studies to other tourist villages. While the factors that influence the implementation of the role of the Village Government in tourism management are the natural conditions that are affected by the seasons, the facilities and infrastructure that are not yet widely supported, and the state of human resources, namely the lack of awareness and ability of the community towards the management of tourism objects so that there is a need for training and intensive assistance from the Suci Government University of Jember Abstract Abstract.
