Abstract

The teaching skills of teachers are not only capable of utilising ICT technology but also facilitate the construction of prior knowledge with new information. Therefore, entrepreneurship-based mathematics learning can serve as an alternate method for students to comprehend the concept of material through their daily experiences. However, the teachers have not prepared learning instruments for the mathematical learning activities process based on entrepreneurship. This research aimed to analyse and describe the ability of mathematics teachers in West Karawang Sub-district Vocational High Schools to design mathematics learning based on entrepreneurship. This study employed a qualitative approach and a case study method. The sampling technique utilised non-probability sampling. The research subjects process was determined using purposive sampling. Data-collecting techniques include surveys, interviews, observation and documentation. The study^s findings in designing mathematics learning based on entrepreneurship demonstrated that the teachers paid attention to selecting material according to entrepreneurial concepts or problems, formulating basic competencies and indicators, and presenting concepts or problems related to the material that will be assigned to students. Students would work on concepts or problems to test their mathematical problem-solving ability.
