This is one of the goals of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights which seeks to create equality in social and legal fields, such as in democratic activities and ensure access to equal work and equal pay. However, the presence of these women workers is often not taken into account by the state, society, and even households. They are considered as shadow workers that the work done by women in the informal sector is not valued as work, so it does not need to be economically rewarded as done by men (formal sector) and does not get any protection. This qualitative study aims to design a comprehensive and integrated model of protection for women workers in the informal sector, which can be used as a reference for local governments to formulate and establish policies Keywords: Woman worker- informal sector- protection law- gender equity Topic: Law |
