Abstract

The high interest of youth in volleyball training activities in the Tugu sub-district made the Karang Taruna Tugu sub-district moved to establish a volleyball coaching club as a forum to channel the talent of the younger generation in the Tugu village as well as a place to learn for youth organizations in developing organizational skills in the field of sports. The lack of organizational experience in the field of sports, the lack of knowledge about volleyball club coaching programs, the recruitment process for administrators, coaches and athletes in particular is still not optimal, so that existing human resources may not appear dominant in the program, and the lack of knowledge about the administration needed in managing a volleyball club is an obstacle for Karang Taruna to establish a volleyball club. Based on these problems, the researchers felt that it was necessary to conduct counseling on the establishment of a volleyball club to the youth community members of the Tugu sub-district, Cimanggis sub-district, Depok City, West Java. This service implementation method uses a mentoring method consisting of several stages, the first stage is the counseling preparation stage, the second stage is the counseling implementation stage, and the third stage is the follow-up counseling stage. This community service results in: volleyball club management structure, club member data, determination of the place/field to practice, and volleyball club training schedule. In addition, this service produces output products in the form of scientific articles published in the National Journal, Online/Print Mass Media Publications, Videos on Youtube, Seminars at the Faculty.
