Abstract
Dental caries is one of the dental and oral health problems, this is caused by a lack of dental and oral care, especially in infants and toddlers. Mothers as the dental and oral care assistants for babies and toddlers have a strategic position in the dental and oral care of babies and toddlers. Therefore, there is a need for posyandu cadres as agents for the renewal of the oral care of infants and toddlers by their mothers. This study uses a descriptive method through the distribution of questionnaires or questionnaires to respondents. The analytical method used is descriptive and then the data is presented through a daigram in accordance with the qualifications of the variable. The materials for this study were 22 posyandu cadres in RW 4, Kebayoran Baru Selatan, South Jakarta. The results showed that this study was quite good and supported the dental and oral care of infants and toddlers for mothers by posyandu cadres. Karies gigi merupakan salah satu permasalahan kesehatan gigi dan mulut, hal ini disebabkan oleh kurangnya perawatan gigi dan mulut, terutama pada bayi dan balita. Ibu selaku pendamping perawatan gigi dan mulut bayi dan balita mempunyai posisi strategis dalam perawatan gigi dan mulut bayi dan balitanya. Oleh sebab itu perlunya kader posyandu sebagai agen pembaharuan perwatan gigi dan mulut bayi dan balita oleh ibunya.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk megetahui gambaran perawatan gigi dan mulut bayi dan balita oleh ibu mellaui kader posyandu. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif melalui penyebaran angket atau kusioner kepada responden, Metode analisi yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif yang kemudian data disajikan melalui daigram yang sesuai dengan kualifikasi variabel.
