Abstract

Design and build a prototype of a cement-concrete mixing machine (mixing machine). The prototype of the mixing machine is one of the uses of an automated computerized system as an example of the development of Science and Technology which is increasing rapidly along with the increasing human needs. This mixing machine prototype is an automation system using a Mitsubishi FX1N PLC to process data that has been programmed in PLC memory into a complete automation process. The design of this prototype aims to apply an automation system using PLC Mitsubishi Fx1n with push buttons, proximity, as input and dc motor, solenoid valve, lamp, as output. This tool consists of a dc motor that rotates around a tube containing concrete materials such as cement, sand, and water. Mixing machine is programmed for the manufacture of cement concrete, sand. In designing this tool, a systematic approach is needed with the following procedures: control system planning, input/output determination, tool making design, programming, and running the system.
