Abstract

This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the application of CTL steps in the inquiry, questioning, learning community and authentic assessment processes in Elementary Schools throughout Bone district, Bone Bolango regency. This research uses descriptive research methods and the use of questionnaires as a data collection instrument.

The research shows that the implementation of Contextual Teaching Learning (CTL) steps in SD throughout Bone district is implemented effectively. Based on the results of several indicators of CTL implementation, such as- (1) Inquiry indicator with an average percentage of 79.50% of research results, (2) Questioning indicator with an average percentage of 77.77%, (3) Learning Community indicator with a percentage of 78.72%, and (4) Authentic assessment indicator with an average percentage of research results that is 77.77%. From some of these indicators in the application of CTL measures in elementary schools throughout the Bone district, an average of 78.44% was included in the good category.

The application of CTL in elementary schools in Bone district, there are 9 elementary schools studied, it was found that 2 elementary schools have not implemented CTL learning steps effectively and are classified as good enough, while there are 7 elementary schools that have implemented learning steps. CTL is effectively and classified in the good category.
