Abstract

Smart building will become a necessity now and in the future in almost all countries in the world, especially in big cities. Most modern buildings or properties are built with the aim of reducing expenses by reducing energy consumption. The strategy of saving and preserving energy and developing a sustainable building environment or property are important factors in the smart building concept. Earlier, from many literature studies, many definitions of smart building were unclear and did not reflect all the parameters regarding smart building. This could be due to the variety of practical contexts that include any components related to smart building and the absence of standardization. This study will discuss what components and sub-components must exist in a smart building. Research sources come from literature studies in the form of journals and papers indexed by Scopus. The results of this study are used to determine a smart building model.
