Abstract

Learning Phrasal Verbs (PVs) for EFL learners needs to be supported by a tool that makes them easy to learn. Previously the learning was using paper-based and since the technology is used a web-based application and mobile application are used to support the learning. The objectives of this study are to develop an application prototype for learning PVs and to describe the business processes in developing the application for learning PVs. The method used in this development is the Extreme Programming process model and implementing Laravel Framework for developing the application. The requirement analysis contains three-level users without an administrator and a one-use case diagram. The application prototype is designed for administration work that can be accessed by the material creators to input the materials which should be approved and activated by the experts to finally be accessed by the users. This application prototyped can be accessed on www.peve4c.com
