Nooka And El : Warm Illustration for Loneliness and Need Companions Bina Nusantara University Abstract Amid a pandemic that requires the citizens of the world to stay at home makes human beings as social beings can not interact directly for a while. This causes a sense of loneliness experienced by some people. Not only because of the pandemic, but the sense of loneliness has been experienced by humans for decades. The purpose of this study is to examine the main causes of loneliness experienced by the community and find solutions to the problem of loneliness through the application of visual communication design science. Through this research, it is expected that people, especially those in the age range of adolescence to adulthood can be helped overcome the feeling of loneliness and prevent the level of depression caused by loneliness decreases in Indonesia. The research method used in this research is the design thinking method. This research uses a quantitative method with random sampling to collect data. The survey was conducted through Google Form with a target of 50 respondents of all ages, genders, and professions. The solution offered to this problem is a comic strip that can help people who are psychologically lonely by giving a touch of visual affection and storytelling.
