LEARNING FROM HOME: IMPACT ON HOTS REVIEWED FROM LEARNING STYLE a) PGSD, Institut Shanti Bhuana Abstract Learning style is one of the supporting indicators of success in learning. This condition is because the learning style attached to students becomes an innate characteristic that will affect learning achievement, one of which is Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS). In elementary school, learning improvements to Higher Order Thinking Skills began to be noticed and applied. However, this is not something new, but the application of HOTS at the elementary school level has not been evenly distributed. Even in some areas, the exposure of HOTS can be a new thing- for example, in the Bengkayang region, West Kalimantan is a border area. The application of HOTS requires careful readiness, especially in the current pandemic where learning from home is implemented. In this case, teachers need to prepare HOTS-based learning instruments, media, and tools and get to know the characteristics of learners, so teachers can design an effective learning process and impact to improving HOTS. This research focuses on studying the effect of learning from home on HOTS in terms of learning styles. The type of research conducted is quantitative by examining the position of learning style against hots in students. The findings of the details are revealed in this article.
