The Influence of the Covid-19 Pandemic on the Usage of Food Delivery Mobile Application

Abstract

This paper presents the overall background of the influence of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the usage of Food Delivery Mobile Application. Nowadays the pandemic has changed all our behavior from going outside into staying at home since the situation right now is dangerous if we keep on eating outside since the virus can infect everyone when we are not following the right protocol that has been implemented by the government. The research aims at collecting and analyzing a data that are recorded from the questionnaires that has been answered by the respondents by developing a statistical result such as chart, bar graph, calculations, as well as other type of research formula that is available in the Research Technique and it includes Linear Regression, Hypothesis Testing, Correlation and Quantitative Research. The analysis concluded that most of the respondents are reluctant to use Food Delivery Mobile Application during this pandemic, and our analysis result shows that Health Safety has a negative significant influence on Behavior Intention, which means that most of the respondents do not trust the food that is bought from outside is safe with the delivery service because they are still scared with the courier who deliver the food to the customer^s house is a silent killer of COVID-19 disease.
