Assessment of Payback Period for a University building Author Affiliations Abstract To see if an infrastructure can cover operational costs, maintenance, and other repair costs, it is necessary to analyze the payback period of an infrastructure. By using this method, we can see the assumptions or cost predictions needed so that the initial costs return with the shortest duration. This research was conducted in the lecture building, ^Gedung J^, which is located at PKN STAN Bintaro, South Tangerang. This research was conducted using several fields of science, namely accounting, financial management, civil and commercial engineering. The research object will be the lecture building where it is necessary to identify the cost components and what assets are in the building. This research was also conducted using UAV Drone technology to facilitate the building survey process. The survey that was carried out in addition to using drones was through direct observation using a checklist form from each aspect. After that, each repair needed is calculated from the aspects of construction, structural, and utility management. By combining these several aspects, the cash flow and payback period are obtained from the restoration building of the lecture building, with a code of ^Gedung J^. The results of this study indicate that the construction and utilization of Building J is feasible and can provide benefits for users.
