Usability Evaluation on Online Exam Applications using the Usability Method a) Computer Science Department, Abstract The online exam application is one of the applications used by the ABC campus as an online exam service- online exam applications make it easier for students to take exams. Lecturers take the exam questions- the academic team configures and evaluates the exams. The use of online exam applications on the ABC campus is not yet known about its effectiveness and efficiency- because of this, it is necessary to have an evaluation. The research was conducted to determine the benefits of online exam applications using usability testing and the System Usability Scale (SUS). Usability testing uses five categories: learning ability, memory, efficiency, and error. The study found the learnability indicator with an indicator value of 3.64, memory with an indicator value of 3.93, efficiency with an indicator value of 4.10, error with an indicator value of 4.11, and satisfaction with an indicator value 3.77. These results show that efficiency has the highest indicator and learning ability is the lowest indicator. Meanwhile, the SUS satisfaction questionnaire results obtained a score of 85.83 students, 79.5 lecturers, and 78.57 academic teams. Researchers also use eye-tracking observations to determine the user^s focus area of the application page. The observations using eye-tracking for the fixation count are 27 on the configuration dashboard because there are many settings for the exam to be presented Keywords: Usability, Online Exam, Usability Testing, System Usability Scale, Eye Tracking Topic: Engineering and Technology |
