MULTILITERACY - BASED ONLINE CONVERSATION PRACTICE

Abstract

Multiliteracy is a potential approach for teaching and learning conversation, because it integrates many literacies practice. This paper is aimed to represent the multiliteracy for students^ conversation practice due to remote learning. The population and sample of this research is 1st semester students of Universitas Muhammadiyah Tangerang with the total number is 49 students. This qualitative research shows that multiliteracies is a potential approach for teaching and learning conversation, because it requires lots of practice and integration of literacies especially in digital literacy and critical thinking, able to stimulate student^s motivation and creativity to practice their conversation skill. 90% sample agreed that integration of many literacies for university students to practice conversation skill is highly recommended.
