In humans, it generally causes respiratory tract inflammation, ranging from the common cold to serious illnesses such as Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) and Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS). In Indonesia, there were 4,242,532 confirmed cases of COVID-19, 143,299 people who died from COVID-19. For Gorontalo Province, there were 11.823 positive cases of COVID-19. Gorontalo Regency is one of the areas affected by COVID-19, with 373 confirmed positives. In connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Gorontalo Regency government urges residents to practice social distancing in all activities to avoid the transmission of COVID-19.
