Abstract

Risk management is a key element in the strategy of organizational activities. One of the current risk management methods is Failure mode effect and analysis (FMEA). This method has been widely used in many studies with the aim of knowing the risks to the company. This research took place at the National Amil Zakat Agency (BAZNAS) Riau Province. FMEA is used as a research method to determine the risks that exist in BAZNAS so that recommendations can be given. In this study, the calculation of the Risk Priority Number (RPN) is done by multiplying the Severity, Occurance, and Detection. The findings of this study using FMEA resulted in 5 failure modes, namely Data, Hardware, Software, People/Human Error and Network as well as recommendations suggested to BAZNAS.
