Cultural Education using University Students^ Lie-Telling Behaviour Analysis English Department, Faculty of Humanities, Bina Nusantara University, Jakarta, INDONESIA 11480 Abstract The research investigated the learners^ linguistics tendencies that focuses on their lie-telling behaviour in various domains. The aims of this research di comprehend which domain is the participants more comfortable to conduct conversation by analysing their lie-telling behaviour based on the social domain theory. The participants for this research were students of Bina Nusantara University of the English literature program who are currently actively enrolling in the 5th and 7th semester, 21 male and 9 female students. This study used a mixed approach for its data-gathering process of both quantitative and qualitative methods in order to comprehend the situation when the participants lie in various domains. The result indicates that the participants often lie in their daily life to their conversation addressee in certain situations. There are also significant differences depending on who is the participants^ addressees. This research proved that domain plays a big part in communicating with others.
