PAKISTANI WOMAN STRUGGLE FOR EDUCATION IN TALIBAN DOMINATED AREA AS REPRESENTED IN I AM MALALA Universitas Bina Nusantara Abstract Education for women in Pakistan is degrading when some provinces in this country is dominated by the Taliban. In this male domination, women do not have the equal right of education as men. ^I^m Malala, an autobiographical novel will show the struggle of Malala Yousafzai to get her right for education in provinces dominated by the Taliban. The plot, character, setting, and, theme of this novel will be analyzed with Wolstonecraft feminism theory focusing on decision maker, struggle about education, involving politics, having strong mind and body, not enslaved by her passion and having equal access to society. The result of this paper will show that Malala becomes decision maker for her life, keeps struggle for her education, enters the area of politics with her appearance in an international organization, the United Nations. She also has strong mind and body although worried with the Taliban. She is not enslaved by her passion, but she struggles for her passion.
