The Relationship Between Academic Stress and Coping Stress Among University student During the Study from Home Period (a) Bina Nusantara University Abstract The spreading of Covid-19 worldwide has many impacts on daily activities including for university students. They cannot attend the class, and have to study online with a learning method known as ^study from home^. However, this situation might be stressful for university students. This study aimed to determine whether there is a relationship between the stress level of university students with their coping strategy during the study from home period. This study used a correlation design and obtained a total of 203 participants who were follow the study from home. This study used the Depression Anxiety Stress Scale-42 (DASS-42) to measure the stress level and the coping stress strategy scale which include the problem-focused coping and emotional-focused coping. The study revealed that the stress level of university students is 51 % with high stress level and 48 % students with low stress level. Using the logistic regression test it was shown that the stress level did not predict the type of student coping stress. Furthermore, the results analysis of the coping stress strategies showed that the university students tend to use the problem-focused coping strategy.
