Factors affecting Indonesia^s CPO exports in international trade Universitas Hasanuddin Abstract Palm oil is a commodity of plantation product that has an important role in Indonesia^s economy and is also an export commodity that produces GDP besides the oil and gas. The main product of palm oil was crude palm oil (CPO) and there are several derivate products such as RBD Palm Olein and Palm Fatty Acid Distillate (PFAD). As the main product, CPO export volume increases positively along with the increasing of CPO in export destination country as food material and biodiesel. However, since the application of export tax policy in 2009, there was a change of export composition from CPO to palm oil derivative products namely RBD Palm Olein and PFAD. The results of this study showed based on the result of ordinary least square (OLS), the variables that had significant influence were: (1) India: the lag of export volume- (2) Malaysia: the price of soybean oil- (3) Netherlands: RCA- (4) Italy: the price of sunflower oil, RCA, exchange rate and dummy of export tax.
