Abstract
Subak in Badung Regency has been planned to be developed as an ecotourism area because it has a beautiful landscape that is very popular with the community. One of the subaks in Badung Regency that is being developed as ecotourism is Subak Mambal. Besides having a positive impact, ecotourism development can also have negative impacts. So to preserve the subak landscape in Subak Mambal, a mitigation model is needed to optimize the positive impacts of ecotourism development and prevent negative impacts that may arise in the ecotourism development process in Badung Regency both in terms of the environment and water availability. With this model, it is hoped that it can become a reference in the implementation of ecotourism development in Badung Regency so that it can reduce the negative impacts that might occur. The tools used in this research are drones, questionnaires, gauges, GPS, and autocad software. Where drones and GPS are used to take aerial photos of the existing conditions, questionnaires are used to survey the existing conditions of Subak Mambal and related ecotourism development conditions, and autocad software to visualize irrigation areas. This research is a descriptive method, using quantitative and qualitative analysis according to the needs of each study. The approach used is a survey approach, observation, literature study and interviews using a questionnaire and in-depth interviews with selected respondents. After conducting surveys and questionnaires, a SWOT model was created to determine the mitigation model to deal with the possible negative impacts that occur in the subak landscape and water sources due to the development of ecotourism in Badung Regency to maintain the sustainability of the subak ecosystem and optimize the positive impact of ecotourism development so that it can improve people lives around.
