Transport Operation Financial Feasibility Analysis Shuttle (Carpooling) For School Students in Denpasar City

Abstract

In order for the existence of this shuttle transportation to fulfill the interests of the government as policy holder (regulator), manager as operational implementer (operator) and the community, especially parents of students as service users (users), in 2019 a tariff analysis has also been carried out to get the tariff in accordance with Vehicle Operational Costs, Ability to Pay and Willingness to Pay (Willingness to Pay) parents of students with the title ^Tariff Analysis Based on Vehicle Operating Costs, Willingness to Pay and Ability to Pay Operations Transport Shuttle (Carpooling) for School Students in Denpasar City ^. Furthermore, to achieve optimal benefits and benefits (benefits) that are balanced for the manager (operator), community (user) and government (regulator), it is necessary to evaluate the feasibility aspects of financial investment through this follow-up research with the title ^ Analysis of the Final Feasibility of Operation of Shuttles (Carpooling) for School Students in Denpasar City ^.
Primary data in this study are data on the number of school students and the cost component. Meanwhile, secondary data is in the form of Basic Credit Interest Rate (SDBK) and inflation data for Denpasar City. Based on the results of the analysis of the financial feasibility criteria, the Net Present Value (NPV) is Rp. - 2,454,061,544 <0 and the value of Benefit Cost Ratio (B / C) = 0.987 <1 means that both based on the NPV value and the Benefit Cost Ratio (B / C) value, this school student shuttle transportation is not financially feasible to operate, but Based on the IRR value obtained, it is 11.66% greater than the prevailing interest rate of 8.88%, then from the IRR value, shuttle transportation for school students in Denpasar City is financially feasible to operate.
