Social media are also quick and easy tools for us to find and spread information. The 21st century has also witnessed how our society becomes even more multicultural due to the development of technology of transportation and communication. This research would like to explore in what way social media can be used for multicultural education in the university level. It investigates a number of posts in Instagram and how they can be used to educate students about multicultural discourses. Students^ perception about multiculturalism, collected from questionnaires, is also studied in this paper to find out their level of understanding about multiculturalism. The result of this research can offer new perspective about the use of technology in teaching multiculturalism and can contribute to the design of teaching materials that are relevant and effective.
