Abstract
According to humanistic learning theory, the purpose of education is to make into a human being. The learning process is successful if students can appreciate their environment and themselves.
So, we hope that our students have successful on the academic intellectual but some of us forget to develop the character and personality, so the results of educational learning are ^a robotic man^ because children are thinking and doing like their teachers. By educating children like robots, the ability of these students to develop personal character will die.
Finally, the process of learning and education had a big problem. That^s an egoistic child. Many people do not have a character personality as a result of childhood education.
The paradigm used in this research is qualitative that has a subjective reality and many dimensions. The research approach uses a critical study that aims to express the meaning behind educational and learning problems based on the perspective of humanistic learning theory. To get additional data, the researcher makes studying and exploring from a number of any relevant sources.
The humanistic critical education perspective had some result first view of learning behaviour from the perspective of student activity not from the instructor learning. second the main idea of educators is to help students develop their potential ability. third on the learning process that students have to try to achieve self-actualization. fourth, the purpose of educators is to help students develop and recognize themselves as unique individuals and help realize their potential.
