Abstract
The growing technologically-assisted humanoids to assist human activities and the growth of citizen^s multiple identities have undoubtedly required today^s generation to be able to rightly cope with plurality of perspectives, to have a sense of responsibility toward diversity, and to have awareness of interdependence among diverse individuals and systems to generate a principled decision making. Thus, one newly required universal competence contributing to the success of this is pluricultural competence (or CQ=Cultural Quotient). In education, one way to cultivate CQ is through the teaching and learning of Multicultural Literature (ML). This is a qualitative research of Indonesian and Taiwanese university students^ perspectives toward diversity and the role of multicultural literature. Questionnaires were distributed to get the students^ responses toward two multicultural poems and their opinions on the contribution of ML in preparing their future as a globalized citizen. The result shows that ML can significantly contribute to prepare students to become pluri-culturally intelligent global citizens to navigate diversity with their pluricultural competence.
